Glen Westlake and Jenny Aldridge of Wellington North welcomed Brinley, the first baby born in 2012 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus. Brinley, who weighed in at five and a half pounds, was born at 5:35 p.m. on New Year’s Day, and is the sixth child (and sixth boy) for the couple. Continuing their annual tradition, Centre Wellington Welcome Wagon representatives presented the family with seven bins full of gifts from 64 local businesses - gift certificates, bath products, a nursery rhyme book, stuffed toys, and baby food, among other things.
