KLOOSTER, William (Bill); In a room full of love, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital , Fergus on Thursday January 5, 2012, born January 19, 1924 in Holland.
Beloved husband for 63 years of Alice Klooster of Arthur.
Dear father of Klaas and Sheila of Elora, Berendina and Philip Donkersgoed of Listowel, Jeanette and Peter Meinema of Warman, Sask. and John and Barb of Arthur.
Greatly loved by his grandchildren Denise (Chris), Kathleen (Will), Christie (Bryan), Jeremy, Jeffrey (Celeste), Kimberly (Jason), Carrie (Trevor), Cherie, David, Patricia (Jeremy), Bryan, Spencer (Vanessa) and Zachary. Also loved by his great grandchildren Jordyn, Matthew, Ceara, Kaitlyn, Isabel, Hailey, Bianca, Owen, Gabriella, Ella, Joss, Tyler, Sienna, Ethan, Kayle, Willem and Navena.
Survived by brothers Stan (Nel) Klooster of Arthur, Herman Klooster of Erin and Peter (Jane) Klooster of Acton, and sisters Femmie Schwauss of Port Elgin and Margie Parr of Arthur, brothers-in-law Bill Stad, Fred Stad and Ben Klumpenhouwer.
Predeceased by brothers Henry (Lois) Klooster, Dick (Hennie) Klooster, George (Trudy) Klooster, and sisters Marie Stad, Tena Stad, Jan (Rae) Shay and Wilma Klumpenhouver and brothers-in-law Egon Schwauss and Alex Parr and sister-in-law Ruth Klooster.
The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Sunday January 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church 149 Frederick St., East, Arthur on Monday January 9, 2012 at 1 p.m. Spring interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur.
Remembrances to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
