A 21-year-old Mount Forest man has been airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital after being shot by police in Mount Forest on Tuesday evening.
County of Wellington OPP went to a Birmingham Street address at 4 p.m. to arrest the man who was wanted on two counts of threatening. An altercation ensued between the suspect and the officers and the man was shot during the confrontation.  ? ?He was taken to Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest and then airlifted to Hamilton in stable condition. Two officers have also been taken to local area hospitals with undetermined injuries.? ?The Provinces Special Investigations Unit is investigating.
