The Wellington North U-14 Ringers suffered a temporary setback on their road to improvement this past weekend. Packing a lunch and firing up the GPS the Ringers made the long and dangerous (well the only real  danger is total boredom) journey to the outer reaches of civilization, a.k.a. Tara, for a rematch just a week after their first meeting with their northern foes. Having been on the short end of an 8-4 score the previous game the Ringers were hopeful they could catch the Tara girls in an overconfident state of mind and pounce on them  for a victory. I’m not sure if you’ve ever noticed this my friends,but sometimes life ain’t perfect.
