Last Wednesday the Atom girls played their final game of the season in Mount Forest. We opened up an early lead thanks to some great hits and two long shots belted by Jessica and Lylie. Our gloves were hot with some great plays on the defensive end by Jessica, Paige and Jillian and rock solid pitching by Jess and Jilly.
No players got left behind as each Twister got on base at one point or another and that was a key reason why the girls won their final game of the season 23-14. It was a great effort by each girl to put the team in possession of first place.
 Support these girls at their season ending tournament starting Friday, Aug. 6, at 6:30 in Palmerston.  Come on, girls; let’s bring home some hardware.
