The Arthur Aces Novice team declared victory over the Milton team on August 3 resulting in being the Zone 8 Champions.  This was a sweet defeat for two very well matched teams.  The Novices were presented with the winning cup that very night.  The next night after practice they all enjoyed some nectar from the cup compliments of Leanne Bell.
The Team travelled to Provincials, Aug 6 – 8 held in Whitby, Ontario.   The Aces had a win, a loss and a win which advanced them to the quarter finals.  During this round the Aces were defeated.  Overall the Team had a successful season.  The year end banquet will take place on Friday August 20.
